You can count on over 60 years of experience when you book Hector Innes photography and you can be sure that it will be either Alastair or Hector that takes your photographs on the day. We do not use 'part-time photographers', a wedding cannot be repeated so there is no point in taking chances. We have the experience and professional attitude to ensure that your photographs will be something to be proud of without turning your wedding into a photoshoot! However, a little time spent on photography will give you an album that is a little bit more special and will give you pleasure for years to come.

Over the years we have evolved a flexible and economical system of wedding photography which enables you to get the photographs you want with the least fuss on the day. Prior to your wedding we will give you a list of suggested subjects which you will use to produce a list of photographs to be taken. You can of course add your own suggestions and we will discuss the photographs with you before the wedding.

We will take at least two photographs of each subject you have asked for and will supply you with one of each in a preview album, together with any of the other photographs which are good. You can then show the preview album to your family and friends before returning it to us with any orders for extra photographs. We will then make up your finished album in a cover of your choice with you final selection of photographs.
